Hey all, I am trying to find alternatives to getting home from town after a night out and was wondering if there are any regular users of the 3am Finnegan's bus to Charlesland and if so would u recommend it??

its a good service but it takes forever (sometimes an hour and a half) cause the route through Bray is crazy long

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I second that. Done it once and would do it again if they install some on board toilets.

I use it pretty much every time I'm out in town. For €7 I'm not complaining. It does take a while, but it gets back eventually. There's nothing worse then getting the 84n and forgetting it only goes as far as the dart station and being left there at half 4 in the morning!

Damo: I've found that the driver usually lets people off to go to the toilet if needs be.

its better than nothing, but the 84N is cheaper and (much) faster. Its a shame the Bus Eireann service ended, it was fast comfortable and they showed DVDs onboard.
