Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why does windows XP ask me to activate it? I installed Windows XP on my PC the other day without it asking me. It says I have 30 days or something? Can anyone help with this?

There should be a alphanumerical code that came with the copy of XP. Type that in and you have a legitimate copy installed.

It should ask you to enter this when you're setting XP up to be honest!

Are you sure it isn't MS Office? I think you get a free 30 day evaluation copy that requires registration in order to get it to work so you'd be getting lots of nagging to do so..

You have to enter the code during an install on XP. However its possible that you won't have an internet connection at this stage, so it allows you 30 days in which to register your copy before it expires. Should be a simple matter of clicking on the box that prompts you to register and then following the steps while you are on the internet.

doesnt always ask you for the code on install, if its a restore cd that came with the pc it can install without asking too. the product key could be on a sticker on your pc aswell.
