Surge is very very proud to welcome back Luke Slater to Dublin for his live PAS show. It has been a year since his hugely successfully gig for Earwiggle at D.E.A.F. With a new album due for early next year this is billed to be the most highly anticipated techno gig of the year. Surge has had a hugely successful year hosting main stages at life festival and Sibin while bringing acts such as Oscar Mulero, Ellien Allien, Alex Smoke, Exuim to clubs around the country. We are very happy to be finishing up 2010 with an act that is widely considered one of Britain’s true electronic music and techno pioneers, with a career that has spanned 20 years and counting, Luke Slater is a national treasure.

On the night, support will come from Jay Galligan and Subsignal. Jay has undoubtedly established himself as one of the key features in the Dublin Techno and Electro scene. His diverse and broad scope on electronic music can clearly be heard in his DJ sets. Surge are very excited to have him debut for them on this huge night for Techno. Jay has played with and worked with a host of huge names through his legendary night TEST. Next on the bill we have Subsignal who is one of Dublin's up and coming label owners and producers. He is founder of the Signalcode label and plays atmospheric Techno with a nod to the deep sounds of Detroit and deep house that came before him. Due to travel Subsignal has not played out in over a year so this only adds to excitement and anticipation of this night.

In short this is going to be an epic night for techno in Dublin and on that note we at Surge would like to dedicate this gig to World Techno Day which is on the following week December 9th. We feel it is i in these tough times that people can find escapism through underground scenes and we will continue to strive to keep the techno scene in Dublin healthy with good quality gigs.

We would be very very grateful if you could mention this in your press or even your listings. For any further info please feel free to contact us.
