ITV on Freesat - no HD football

    I am watching the Man U v Rangers game on a Panasonic Plasma with an inbuilt freesat tuner. The channel number is 977. Normally I am prompted to hit the red button for the HD feed. This hasn't happened tonight, or the last time I watched a game for that matter.

    Are they not offering it in HD or is something else up?

    Can you add the frequency manually to the panny?

    Yeah, using a foxsat HD box and red button was not offered.

    ITV 1 HD is channel number 119 on Freesat. What postcode are you using?

    Using a Belfast postcode from the beginning. Worked great until this issue. I have always accessed ITV from channel 977.

    I suggest you use a london postcode. Red button feature turned off about a month ago..The match was in HD on ITV1 HD last night.

    I watched the Champions League match on ITV1 HD, channel 119. Maybe they're phasing out the red button HD option now they have a dedicated HD channel? Could also just be a once off mistake..

    The Red Button hasn't been available now on ITV1 on channel 977 now for a number of weeks. People on the forums over on Digital Spy have been reporting the same thing.
