Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Soldeu on the Cheap

    I'm looking at trying Soldeu this season. Without a package that is. Flights are reasonable into Barcelona so I was wondering if people had experience with self catering apartments in Soldeu. A couple of the ones I've seen don't seem great and seem to cram lots of people into a couple of rooms.

    Does anyone have any recommendations. Or even a hotel where we could book a few twin rooms. Any tips really would be appreciated.

    We stayed in http://www.skimaniac.com/apt/ but it looks like he is now only doing monthly rentals.

    We paid 980 for a small apartment for 6 of us. We got cheaper in Morzine - 650 for 6. Both were in March.

    Soldeu is not that cheap - the list pass is 221 high season 6 day adult.

    The hotel Bruxells was great for their €10 evening meal and the hotel itself looked quite good.

    If you want cheap then there are cheaper places than Soldeu.

    Just spotted some alright priced flights from Belfast to Geneva, so that might open up a lot of other options.

    Some of the apartments we've spotted in Soldeu are pretty grotty. But then I guess you get what you pay for.

    Very expensive to transfer from Geneva. Need to do your homework upfront

    Edit: I mean Geneva to French resorts...not geneva to Soldeu ......that would be outrageously expensive

    Yup. Went with Soldeu in the end. Hopefully the apartment will be ok.
