Just wondering - had we voted no the second time around in respect to Lisbon II, what would be the scenario in simple layman terms? Would we still be experiencing the painful slow death of Ireland Inc as a result?

I would have expected the governement to be ousted if we had voted no. But as time has gone on and the way they are acting now I dont think they would have gone so easily and maybe we would have had a Lisbon 3. But certainly if we voted yes or no we would still be in the same situation as we are now.

Whats happening now has absolutely nothing to do with the treaty, whether we voted no or yes we'd still be in this crisis.

The simple answer to your question is yes.

The long answer is also, yes.
