    Hi Guys,

    Just wondering if someone can help with an Idiots guide on how to get these maps working?

    I have downloaded them and all I have is a bunch of .IMG files. The only option to open them it to burn them to CD - after that, I am lost.

    Only going on a rusty memory at the moment, and I've not got my laptop with Garmin stuff on it in front of me at the moment. But approximately.

    Download MapSource: http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=209
    It won't install unless you already have a version installed, but the .exe is actually a zip file, so you can extract it and then run one of the files inside that zip. Google should point you in the direction of which one, but trial and error should work too as there are only a couple of exe files if I remember that bit right.

    The EmeraldIsle files that you downloaded probably included a .bat file or similar that will setup the system registry for you. Their site should have some pointers.

    Then from within MapSource you can select which map tiles you want loaded to your Garmin device and then get it to create and upload to the device those maps.

    Very, very rough guide for now, sorry.
