The function of secondary education is to prepare students for the 'knowledge based economy'

    Agree or disagree?

Well why not throw out some of your own opinions for discussion first?

The function of a secondary school is to produce in conjunction with the parents well rounded, educated young men and women who can enter the work place or further education. To have an opinion of their own and who can leave home and look after themselves.....

We cannot pressure young people to become something that they are not, we also need to produce poets, artists, musicians, chefs and binmen. Tis all about the balance
