Congrats on the print on on being the first Boards user to have a design printed Dutchy:

    qwertee-t-shirt-qwerty-tee-mens-zombie-soup_1_mhb_500.jpg

Looks great, hope it does well for you.

I wonder when/if Qwertee will be doing a sale/random shirt day like some of the other guys do, I'd like to see that.

There's mention of an insaniTEE sale in their FAQ I assume it's much the same thing...

    Here's hoping...

They're plan is too have Tee's changing ever 24 hours and if any surplus they will more than likely have a sale

I'm going to order one of those right now, loving the design!

I wonder what brand of tee shirt they print on?

Thanks for all the sweet feedback guys :D

Re what brand they print on.. I'm not entirely sure! I bought the Obama Zombie one (best tee ever) and I couldnt see any branding on it bar a Qwertee stamp. I can confirm that they are good quality t-shirts.

    From their FAQ...

What T Shirts Do You Print On?
Qwertee only prints on high quality, super soft and ethically produced cotton t shirts. We use 160g/m2 100% ringspun jersey cotton t shirts. Ringspun cotton ensures our shirts stay soft even after many washes. You can see what our shirts look like on our homepage (the photos are of models wearing our actual shirts), we also have more detailed product photos in our Blog/News section.

Only 8 more hours left until this epic adventure ends and my tee will no longer be on Qwertee

Fingers crossed another boards.ie gets printed next :D

Hope you don't mind me asking but how much will you make out of this? Is it like a €1 for every tshirt sold?

I know that Tallon said earlier in this thread that he washed his shirt and he mentioned that the tee shrunk slightly (to be expected). No mention of the print coming off or anything so assume all's good in the hood in that respect... but perhaps Tallon can confirm? Aint washed my tee yet

Mine took over a week but it was over the christmas holidays so cant really use that as a good judgement.

Yip, the deal is €1 for every tee sold and you also get a copy of the tee. Not sure how much I'll make... not too important to me. The buzz of getting a tee printed and the positive feedback is just awards for me. Having said that... I wont say no to dosh! :D It's also a great platform for a bit of exposure... after the tee has appeared on qwertee (or similar sites) you can then run it on sites, such as, red bubble and emptee...

yeah fine, a bit of a differnet feel like you get with most Tees, but no damage to the design at all

I like the idea of that Pacman one, but won't be getting it because (and this might be an odd complaint) the image is too large on the shirt, it's just quite out of proportion. Reckon it shouldn't be any larger than about 75% of its current size or shouldn't have the walls.

    :pac:.

Agreed. Think it would look much nicer without the walls!

Was tempted to get it too..

Look's like they might have listened to you, it definitely looks smaller on the shirt now...

Have already ordered in any case, I just hope the white line isn't too near the top or I'll look like a priest:)

    Hi Töpher,

You are absolutely right, we've adjusted the mock up to give you a more accurate idea of how the design will look on the shirt.

We've also added the actual dimensions of the design so you can know exactly what size the design will be, hopefully this will give you a better idea.

You still have a few hours to get the shirt if this puts your mind at ease:)

    Thanks

    Thanks Cpt,

Perhaps we should run a poll on what sweets would be most popular?

Was out in Musgraves Cash and Carry having a look and there is a dazzling array of choices, took me back to penny sweet days:)

I think its better if we have no idea what sweets we might be getting; It'll be like Christmas :D.

It might be cool to let the t-shirt designer choose what sweets to send out, if it was possible. We could then decide to but any of their other t-shirts based on their choice of sweets :P

    @ QWERTee , Add a 3 for 2 offer and you have my €'s ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,263 ✭✭✭DeWitt

That wouldn't really be fair to the artists. Unless they worked out some sort of system whereby this could be used instead of a grab bag/mystery tee.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 22,565 ✭✭✭✭Tallon

Why would it not be fair on the artist?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,263 ✭✭✭DeWitt

Yeah, wait I have to rethink this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,263 ✭✭✭DeWitt

    Okay here it goes...

The customer would be buying 3 t-shirts for the price of 2? Paying for 2 tshirts, so no money would be made on the third. Unless Qwertee put forward the money for the third tee, the artist wouldn't get a €1 for every tee sold [giveup]
    I think I'm confusing myself now/

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 22,565 ✭✭✭✭Tallon

I'm sure they would work something out.

It's not all about getting paid, it's about getting your Tee printed :)

    what does this mean ??

i only ordered one of the zombie shirts......did it mess up and charge me for 2 ?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,234 ✭✭✭Fresh Pots

No, as far as I can tell only the blue is what you actually bought, the white are the ones that you add to the cart but never went through with payment.

@qwertee:robert: This is probably one feature on the site that could do with some tweaking as their is not remove item button. A year down the line I could end up having 20 unfinished sales in my basket with no way to remove them.

just got an email before 9 to say it has been dispatched.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,456 ✭✭✭Cpt_Blackbeard

    Just a though:

There should be an option to receive an email telling you if a tshirt you voted for is up for sale. I know that I would be pretty annoyed if I missed the chance at getting a tshirt that I expressed my liking for and helped get it put up for sale too.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 22,565 ✭✭✭✭Tallon
