Places to walk dogs in Dublin

Hey does anyone know of a good place to walk dogs in the dark evenings that is safe in Dublin and that he'll get a good run off his lead ? There is a great park up by us but there is no lights so not that safe on my own......................any suggestions?:)

The Polo Grounds in the Phoenix park is safe. I've been going there for years and no problems.

southside, but he is great in the car so any suggestions would help, he just loves being off the lead and running!
