A few months back I joined some gambling mailing list, and every day I keep getting these e-mails from people who claim to make these "huge profits" using "one simple trick" that "the bookies dont want you to know" etc. Surely all these claims are false and these betting systems are all scams, or is there any that actually…

If you must pay, then it's a total scam - don't.

If the system is free, then do a dry run over say a month. You will know at that stage if it is a con or not.
