Sky News read out an email from someone in wicklow saying they were experiencing Thundersnow and it's worth a mention as it's a rare event.Your one Isobel said yeah could be because of the warm sea creating hugh convection.

So which one of ye was it?

This totally trumps any snow event here in the last ten years atleast for depth! Looks like another blast on the way in the next hour going by the radar!:):):):):)

Heavy snow here in Wexford - and I'm just finishing a night shift and have to get home, get some sleep, throw a few snowballs at the neighbours kids and get back here for midnight. I'll bring a shovel!

Yep - Wind has now swung round to the NE bring in milder air off the sea:(, thankfully I'll be shielded from the worst of that;)

You really need negative DP for snow.

I guessed that, its been clear here for the past hour or 2, would DP and temp drop during showers?
