Looks like ye were right! we did get some snow afterall, altho it isnt much and looks more of the hail variety. About an inch on the ground or slightly less. It's done the job tho garden is nice and white! Hopefully we may get more over the next few days, the radar has nothing lined up for us today so may have to wait to see what next week brings.

the only problem with all the snow is it has come 27 days to early
Snow is never to early, who says you wont get more snow in 27 days time. ;)

Dam all snow here, just the same as Irishs pic, not worth talking about :(

Forecast looks great for some , North Donegal expecting a good bit rules me out :(

Absolutely no way theres 5 inches of snow anywhere other than the hills in the north of the county or maybe brandon hill . . .we have about 3/4 inch here although its falling heavily.

DP is at 0.2C and temp 0.5 but its still sticking . . .

First few flakes starting to fall here in Carrigaline, Cork.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,700 ✭✭✭Mountainsandh

This is so unusual, normally I get down from frozen/snowy hills to wet unfrozen town, but today it's the opposite ! You're having such a great one in Waterford city, enjoy !

Here near Knockmealdowns it's 0 degrees, I can see the dark clouds swishing by going Cork-wards, but they're not breaking ! At least our little sprinkling is sticking.

Cork people you're in with a chance :)

Blizzardlike for the last hour in arklow with heavy frequent thunder and lightning too.
The tyre marks made in the yard this morning are completely covered in.
A fantastic hours top up to the snow-driving blinding snow in very dark conditions.
A good 3 inches + on the ground.
    Temp is 0.4c
    dp is zero
