Control panel. Look at the toolbar near the top of boards, over on the extreme left there is a link to user cp. go into that, and into settings and turn off email notification. Its in there somewhere!!!

Is Dublin going to get a decent bit at all? Most of it had turned to slush by lunchtime. Am hoping the kids get a few days off!

I don't care how much snow falls as long as the m4/m6/m52 from dublin to offaly is clear. Last year I had to stay up in dublin due to badly treated road hope this year will be different. This morning around enfield was fairly dodgy driving.

Another clip my wife took this morning http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akldA25Y1e8

Can see those showers develop in the Irish Sea off to my east. Hopefully a repeat performance of those showers later and tomorrow.
Temp now is -0.6c DP -2.3c Slush is frozen, roads are deadly.

Lads could you give me your opinion on the safest time / route from Dublin to Waterford tomorrow morning? I'm hoping to go on the M9 before 12pm.

Are we looking at a repeat performance for Waterford tomorrow?

    Go here: http://boards.ie/vbulletin/profile.php?do=editoptions

Make sure "Default Thread Subscription Mode" under Notifications heading is "Do Not Follow". Save changes.

This will stop you "following" threads you make and reply to unless you explicitly state you want to follow it by checking a box during posting or use Thread Tools.

Click Thread Tools (above the first post on the page, over on the right hand side just under the page numbers) and click Unfollow Thread.

Yeah should see something similar again but it could be more hit and miss, well get an idea around midnight by how the precip looks over the Irish Sea.

Woke up to hail covered ground this morning in Ticknock (sorta between Sandyford and Rathfarnham in the foothills of the Dublin mountains). Has been pretty clear all day since and got a bit slushy over lunch but has been freezing hard for the last couple hours. Some cloud starting to gather now from the east. It's currently -2 and dew point is -4? Is that right? So if there's further precipitation it will be in the form of hail again?

No certainties with these kind of setups but the models are showing snow showers coming into the southeast again early tomorrow morning until midday/early afternoon.
