Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Temp was 4 degrees at the bottom so halfway up, I guess -1, but quite windy at times straight from the North so prob feeling like -5 or -6.

Its just snowed in Louisburgh, right beside the sea, the land of no snow ever, for about 10 minutes. Still about 3 degrees here.

just came home in a massive snow shower between Clonee and Dunshaughlin, the old N3 (free road) is lethal as it has not been treated at all. The M3 was clear but is now filling up with snow across the surfaces. Snow has stopped falling but almost 2 inchs on the ground here now. Footpaths are lethal and seen a few people fall already.

Maynooth gained 4-5cm in the last 40 minutes and it's still snowing, although lightly. Took a dog out for a bike run, it was awesome, uploading a short video just now.

Around 2 inches of snow here, a nice snowfall, stopped snowing 20 mins ago.

  • Registered Users Posts: 195 ✭✭gothwalk

Just been out to shops and back in Maynooth, it's pretty damn wintry out there. About 5cm of snow, bit more in places, big fat flakes still falling steadily. Abominable snowman imitation when I got to the door, scared the cat.

Just caught the weather on sky news, they seem to suggest that streamer hanging just off the east cost will hit land after midnight. If their forcast is anything to go by looks as if theres a possibility of some snow in Dublin/wicklow (hard to tell without being able to zoom in lol) and that the east/south of wexford will get a good hammering. Most likely parts of Waterford aswell.

But thats just according to sky news, I'm just typing what I saw :D

Not a feckin' flake in D13. Very icy though, this morning's heavy graupel has turned treacherous.
