Snow watching keeps me up!!! On an aside, anyone know a good iPhone weather app?
I really like the Irish Weather iPhone app. It gets it's info from Met Eireann and also had their rainfall radar!

M-M-M-M-M-MONSTER Snow!!! Completely bucketing it down in Dublin 2 currently, about 2 or so inches on the ground that was bare at midnight! Very heavy rate currently, visibility is at about 200 metres from snow.

No Snow in Aylesbury - Old Bawn gang - what did you do to it

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,092 ✭✭✭compsys

Light to moderate snow in Rathfarnham for the past half an hour now.

Everything is covered in white again. So pretty. So glad I decided to stay in tonight and not head out drinking in town. It'll be some fun for everyone in the city centre trying to get home at 3am in all this!

Just as well I was keeping track of things on here too. For most of today Met Eireann's forecast didn't give the chance of much snow for the East.

Must be snowing heavy in Bray for at least an hour now. And looking at the raintoday.co.uk precip radar it looks like only the first one sixth of the cloud mass has passed over so far. Another 5 hours of this heavy snow??? If so Woohoo!! :D

Only problem is the Saturday night drunks revellers coming up from the seafront from about 1:30am onwards will be making a lot of noise messing in the snow like last night. Couldn't get to sleep between them and the thunder till after 4am last night. Problem is, this time I have to go to work at 7:30am tomorrow.

The good thing is though is that my commute will be no trouble no matter how much snow is on the road. Our business premises is next door :D

{Edit] Jaysus, I din't think it possible but its getting even heavier here in Bray now!! :D:D
