Dry. Calm. Clear night here in Donegal town. Think it's about -2. Is that big clump of cloud over Scotland heading this way or down the Irish sea to the east coast ????
no irish. as the winds shift to a more ENE direction that will head towards Ulster.

East coast snow sin't even on the radar yet. the irish sea is just cooking it at present

Bit of a dodgey drive home there on the last stretch:p slipping and sliding on more local roads, a few mm's of snow lying here and it's just starting to snow again, nice lightning display viewed from the m50 on the way back too!

EDIT: Big flash of lightning followed by thunder just there

still 'graupelating in dalkey' (graupel is light hail..it's softer than hail and settles like snow)

Yep, delicous Polish warmer. Just heat but dont boil add cinnamon mixed spice and nutmeg, some sugar and enjoy. Sounds strange I know but it's actually quite nice. The Polish know how to keep warm!!
