Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So are we getting snow in Waterford tonight? What kind of high and low temps are we looking at?

    It's all very interesting.

Would think our chances of getting any snow tonight is limited as there is nothing on the radar coming in our direction.
Temp at the moment is -4.6c and falling. You can check live data from Waterford @ www.waterfordcityweather.com.

I know, we're greedy pigs! :D Give it an hour to an hour and a half and I'd say there will be snow starting to fall in south Dublin.

With this weather I've totally forgotten how srewed the country is! :o

I know the government were almost lucky with the fact that we've been so distracted today!

Fingers crossed for the snow in South Dublin, I know there's still loads on the ground but I need moar!

Looking at the ME radar sequence, that large blob from the south is going to hit South Dublin :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,359 ✭✭✭whiteandlight

Oooh that'd be nice. Though must say the balinteer on ramp for the m50 might not be pleasant coming from work tomorrow!

Looks like Meath and North Dub and Louth to get snow showers in the next couple of hours. Parts of Dublin aswell. Im hoping to catch the tail end of something here near Malahide. Also looks like a more Northeasterly flow now in the North Irish sea may drift more showers ashore in the coming hours.

If that 'thing' over Louth is whats currently over Wicklow, then that takes it right over Dublin:)

NOT, that chart seems to be way off the mark for east coast.

    here is latest satellite

as you know that thing has been sitting to the south most of the day, I think it is scared to pay the country a visit.

Wolf, i'm sorry but it aint going to happen.
You are giving more credence to predictive ppn charts than to live radar.
It is clearly clearly moving west, southwest

And leahyl this is for you - Cork will get plenty snow between now and wed night so chin up, just not tonight:)

Intensified on raintoday also and now heading straight for Cork City.

January, it seems to have turned NW on radar now as well.

Uh oh, ME radar showing Wicklow blob evaporating into thin air. Is Dublin going to be in the snow shadow of the Wicklow mountains ?
