Am I the only one that realises that this is a sarcastic comment? Or am I giving the poster too much credit?

No i know he is being sarcastic,as for the people who think otherwise with their 'facepalms' and stuff, well the joke is on you! :P

Maybe they thought it was overly obvious irony. They then sarcastically pretended they didn't realise the original post was being ironic.

I wouldnt say so, temps are up in the west and south west, but not the south east it could be sleet on the coast but more snow inland or even worse freezing rain, we are still in and extremely cold pool

There's a gang of about 40 or 50 though one of my sons and his friends reckoned there were about 100 teenagers at one stage hanging around the end of Viewmount throwing snowballs and drivers and pedestrians including throwing them at my son and his friends. The lads said they're not from Viewmount but that they just gather there.

And all this from the "supposedly" better part of Waterford City. If it was
happening in the vicinity of Ballybeg/Larchville etc it would certainly receive much more attention. Wonder do all those Mummies & Dads know that their precious little offspring are nothing more than thugs! Of course nothing would be done even if they were apprehended as their parents are part of the establishment (solicitors, teachers, bankers). Only a little bit of innocent foolish fun eh??

Can we all get pick-up trucks and chase these scumbags, firing at them with shotguns?

  • Registered Users Posts: 43 1000midgets

yeah they are SCUMBAGS!we were driving into townand they whacked our jeep with snowballs and the 2 babies started roaring cring........grrr.............so on the way back they were still there etc. and just as they through the ball my man slammed on the brakes and took off after them and gave the culprit a good dig in the head.
    good enough i say

  • Registered Users Posts: 43 1000midgets

and by the way they beat the ****e out of a poor lad <snip> on weds and a girl went up and kicked him in the head..........all because he challenged them for throwing snowballs.......his van nearly went sideways!!!!!!and he ended up black and blue.......good enough for them!!

You need a question mark at the end of that. :D

I've seen much worse grammar and punctuation, it's perfectly readable, just a little casual.
