Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wear and tear: Retro components VS modern components.

I have only got back into cycling recently and purchased a modern sports bike. I could not get over the amount of gears on it and the general reduction of size of components such as the use of a slimmer chain and reduction of chainwheel and sprocket teeth size.

Dose this mean that these components wear out quicker than retro parts?.
