Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Very few people went out to freeze their asses off today to be entertained. Not the same thing.

Although Christy Moore was an unexpected treat. If they'd only advertised that...

I hope he didn't sing "Dont forget your shovel if you want to go to work"

a protest of at least 50,000 people marching through the capital whatever they achieve is of national importance, considering how sky news and the bbc think its of international importance I can say rte dropped the ball.

Sky and BBC have 24 hour rolling news channels. They will show anything that fills up the yawning abyss of air time that they must fill. Barack Obama cutting his F'N lip was breaking news the other day, so Sky deciding that something is worth airtime hardly is enough to make it something of great importance.

Micheal Bubble had a crowd of over 100,000 in the Aviva?

100,000??? Are you from the Dougal Maguire school of estimating crowds?

Apparently the organisers are claiming 100-150k turned up.

Every independent local media source (and garda press office) is estimating 40k+.
