    What's dab?

Digital radio. Not overly used in Ireland atm but a lot of stations old and new from rte are on it also.

I can confirm that 103.8 has been on-air since around midnight, initially with test pips and non-stop Christmas music from this morning. The same service is on the trial DAB multiplex in 128k stereo.

Their web stream also works for me, but confusingly is playing different songs!

I remember when Zenith was broadcasting on the same frequency, 103FM in Cork overpowered it in two places, Kilmacthomas and at the pike in Dungarvan.
