Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How cheap are we talking? I've been using a Canon 50mm macro which is decent enough (though not 1:1 magnification - but no dedicated macro will come cheap either) which you can get for around the 200 mark (judging from a quick look on Amazon).

If you're not getting a dedicated macro lens there are things you can get that help bridge the gap - extension tubes, reverse ring adapters, close-up diopters etc.
