Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I got about 3 google verification codes sent via SMS to my phone a few months back for gmail . Last night I got 2, then an automated phone call from them and then another text.

Is this somebody trying to hack my account? Should I unregister my phone or change other settings?

My password would be impossible to guess.

If you log into Gmail you should be able to see where the account was last accessed from if it is someone trying (or succeeding) with getting into the account.

Thanks for that. I heard you could do that, it is down the very bottom of the page when you log in, it says account activity and you can click details.

Guide here though it is simple http://www.tothepc.com/archives/view-gmail-login-activity-location-ip-address/

Nobody has been in anyways, shows the last 10 logins. My login name is just my surname and I tend to get people dropping their own initial when signing up to things, or people dropping their friends initial and emailing to me. Could be somebody incorrectly thinking my email is theirs and requesting a code -at fecking 2.30 in the morning!

sounds like someone trying to sign up and putting your mobile number in for the verification. Perhaps by mistake, a wrong digit they have not noticed and wondering why theya re not getting the text?
