Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Broken camera

Okay, so my camera accidentally fell from my settee (I'm gonna blame the cat, for my own sanity!)

Problem is that now the lens isn't going in and out. I googled it and google told me the lens mechanism might be broken. It's still within warranty, so I could send it to sony, the problem is that they don't cover accidental damage and I could "incur costs" if they decide it's accidental damage.

If I don't go this way is there anywhere I could take it to get it fixed? Also, how much is it likely to rob me, bearing in mind the camera only cost me 75 quid.

Oh, it a sony cybershot DSC-W180.

    Hope you can help!

You might be better off just getting a new camera.

That said, I hate just tossing out a anything. You could call the shop that sold it to you and see if there is a local alternative to the warranty route. Might be a shop that can repair it.
