Is it the stuff that's currently over Scotland & NE England that is due to hit us tonight and tomorrow ?

I think you should clarify that is your opinion and not that of Met Eireann. The poster is asking if the report on the radio is true. Just because you disagree with it does not change the fact that Met Eireann have a weather warning for heavy snow tonight and tomorrow for Dublin.

 We are talking about a situation that could lead to accidents and disruption and I think if it very important that if someone is asking if something they heard of the radio is true or not that they should know what Met Eireann are saying rather than just our ametur forecasts.

    Agree 100 %

hail starting here, big shower heading for Dublin CC and south Dublin/ Wicklow for rush hour.

Come down heavy hear just at northern fringe of streamer.

Yes, that's what sparked the weather warnings, it would seem that this front might get somewhat reinforced by the convection over the Irish Sea (the lake effect) before hitting the east coast and penetrating Ireland. Doesn't mean it's guaranteed to happen.

What are the chances of Waterford getting some? Seems as if it's only Wicklow, Dublin and Louth that will bear the brunt.
