Its gotten very cloudy here in Marino, just beside Clontarf and its snowing lightly, apparently its very heavy in the airport now, a friend of mine was to work there tonight but he was told that it was too dangerous.

Im still expecting snow to be honest. Right by the coast (Dublin 4), and there is absolutely no thaw at the moment - which seems to contrast with areas further inland in Dublin where people have reported all lying snow is already gone.

EDIT: Lightning strike in the distant!

Sat here with Nikon on stanby hoping for lightening flashes over the Dublin mountains, fast moving heavy cloud begining to accumulate and light snowfall has just started over Tallaght/Citywest,temp seems to have dropped again....the earlier thaw seems to have halted judging by rooftops n cars.

It's very cloudy overhead here , killester , where it had been totally clear an hour ago , that front must be moving in , still hailing, very very dark clouds coming from the irish sea , hail getting really heavy now

No thaw at all here and have been getting little 5/10 minute bursts of lovely snow every hour or so all day adding to what's already there.
