Nice snow shower here. First proper snow shower of the evening. Beginning to see snow accumulations again :D Look like Met Eireann's original forecast may not be far wrong!

Why is a NE bad ?

because the wind is currently blowing off land and things are looking marginal already (1.0 celcius here), when it switches to NE temps will rise...you'll be fine though as you're well inland in Kildare

On mobile here so can't see pics or radar, but from looking at the radar chart does it look like any snow will make it to kilkenny before morning? Gone quite mild here, -1.7 up from -8.4 earlier.

    Probably not till around 6am.

You can even follow the planes here - http://www.radarvirtuel.com/

Net Zero means we are paying for the destruction of our economy and society in pursuit of an unachievable and pointless policy.
