    Don't panic about the 'low fuel' one. The pilots often exaggerate a bit to get on the ground quicker thus saving the fuel costs, being home earlier etc. It's also uncomfortable for the passengers to stay in holding pattern for a longer period of time. The planes take enough fuel to stay in a holding pattern for at least an hour on the average, if this guy was really running out of fuel he'd be using a different wording to report it.

    Also, the amount of traffic is not that unusual, arrivals into Dublin are normally schedules up until 11:50pm.

    That said, they are having issues getting accurate results of the braking action tests which may add to the current delays.

    Jasus, one pilot just said he wouldn't like to be stopped in a hurry on that runway, said he had "control issues"... F*ckin' hell!
