I see AA roadwatch have no text up for Cork or waterford.
The back roads here in Cork are like skating rinks wtf.
Waterford going by reports here is almost snowed in.

Perhaps they've gone home for the evening:rolleyes:

Feck sake - the Naul is only up the road from me here in Lusk.

Anyone notice how vans and especially lorries seemed to be traveling really fast on dodgy roads today. Or am I just a little more nervous when I see a monster truck heading for me on an ice rink!!!!
But can they keep better traction at higher speeds than our cars???

Think the wind needs to shift just a little more northerly for wexford town, streamer is constantly just bearly to the west of us.

the ground temp is in the minue but the air temp near corduff is +2.

it's calm, not much in the form of cloud....hopefully a miracle happens and we get battered but seems to be a repeat of last night.:(

I can see cloud off towards the north west, so close but just out of reach. It was a surprise to see so little fresh snow this morning all right after all the hype.

what would be the chances of the cloud building over chester in the uk making it over here by morning

So great to finally not be envious of the rest of the country snow wise. About 5 to 6 inches deep on the ground. Havent seen the likes here in about 20 years.
