Even with my best efforts of positivity the Isle of Man shadow is standing strong.

    :(

Come on weathercheck, dont give up, what about the 23:45 here http://www.raintoday.co.uk/

The last bit looks a lot more north than anything else has in "The Shadow"

Last post tonight as my school never closes lol. Still snowing in maynooth, varying greatly in intensity-from a few flakes to flurries. Happy snow watching all

Anyone who wants some snow come on up to NW Donegal, the 6 or so inches we got on Sat/Sun are still here, its frozen at this stage with no sign of going away anytime soon :)

What are your thoughts for the rest of the night here Pat? I am just a few miles away in Bray, mix of hail and sleet for the past hour, DP seems to be dropping though!

The dew points are excellent, however to get anything significant we'd need two things:
    1. a decrease in the wind (here its very strong and these puny showers last 1-3 minutes and just blow over)...
    2. some more organized precipitation/organized/bigger showers.

I'd go to bed now, tomorrow morning/afternoon should be much better for anything significant.

Can't believe Kilcock has so much and we're 15 minutes away and have a tiny tiny amount - a path cleared at 4pm today barely white again now, can still see through the tiny sliver of snow that's covering it! I'm off to bed, eyes are starting to hurt from screen and staring out the window. Fingers crossed I wake to a thick layer of snow covering everything like royal icing on a cake! (Am off tomorrow so don't need to drive!)

Snow is just beginning here in North-west Wales. It seems that the clouds are heading directly eastwards. Dublin may be in for some snow ;)

Not if they're headed east we won't...
