I"m going to bed and I had better wake up to a bunch of snow because I've sort of planned already on not going to work tomorrow and if I have to go now I'll be disappointed to say the least!

Shed loads of graupel off the leading edge of a cloud in Leopardstown.

It's giving way to some heavy snow now.

This is better than the depressing stuff on AH for the last few weeks ...Snow changes the mood of the country ,we as a nation love talking about weather for the love of God !

The economic outlook maybe becoming like the early 80's ...but my 1980's Child Hood Happy Days moments come from this :

Is that the Dublin Airport Radio Waves you looking for?

I'm no expert, but were looking at a bit of a thaw at the moment. Considering Ballsbridge is quite low-lying, it'll probably be slush if it doesn't snow tonight. Luckily though, there seems to be a bit heading our way now, it's over Dublin 4, so it should be near you. : ) As for long term, I have no clue, but it's promising. There'll be a major drop in temp. on Thursday too I think.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I reallly appreciate the expertise

Absolutely nothing (But a thaw) in Castleknock, Dublin 15. Dreading walking to school in the morning through all the ice and slush.

Goddamnit clouds. SNOW SNOWWW. Not rain.

So hailstoning/rain in Dundrum. Hooray. I feel betrayed. The clouds look so promising as well.

Hope there'll be no more snow in Dublin anyway. I'm sick of the goddamn stuff already, it's seriously inconvenient.

Game on for Dublin City, south county and increasingly looking like north Dublin are in for a shout judging by the latest radar and sat images. The shadow can feck right off.
