Small white patches forming very slowly on the roof across the road. There's white on parts of the ground, which I think is graupel

DP >0.0 = dirty wet snow, if it does snow, not the settling type unless its extremely heavy and horrible slushy stuff at that.

they were talking about the M2 buoy DP though, somebody said 0.5C there is the magic number.

Everything clear and calm here in south Carlow after the closest to blizzard conditions i have ever seen. I'd guess about 5 to 6 inches since about 9pm.

Actually, just had a peek outside, lashing again

The M2 buoy figures need to be taken with a large pinch of salt, they fluctuate quite a lot but are a good overal indicator.

Hailstones trough the chimney again wow!!

Hmmm, would it be an idea to post your location in the 'Title' of your posts....that way we can flick through quickly and catch our areas for news? The thread has 'snowballed' {sorry :)} since yesterday morning so it makes it hard to find out news about your own location and whilst its nice to read about the rest of the country, it means trawling for pages upon pages........just an idea :)

There's an option to "search this thread" at the top right of it.

Really? I got very light hail coming down in D13 at the mo.

I need to get over to UCD in the morning so I'm torn between wanting snow and not wanting it to be a pain in the ass.
