Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Boy rescued from washing machine

Just after watching this on the news, I couldn't stop laughing!:pac:
A boy was rescued in the northern Chinese city of Taiyuan on Sunday after being trapped in a washing machine for over an hour.
Chaofan, the three-year-old boy, got himself stuck in a washing machine when he was playing hide-and-seek with his mother.
Chaofan's mother was quoted by Chinese broadcaster CCTV as saying that her son was trying to hide himself from her inside the washing machine only to find his legs tightly caught by the washing tub.
CCTV ran footage showing rescue workers dismantling the washing machine, then cutting the washing tub open to get the boy out.
After an hour's painstaking work, the boy was pulled out of the washing tub, according to CCTV.

This story is sensationalized and that's far from what happened.

I hate when the media put spin on their stories.

CCTV ran footage showing rescue workers dismantling the washing machine, then cutting the washing tub open to get the boy out.
They were originally going to send a qualified washing machine repair-man out to rescue the kid but the doctor on scene estimated the child could only survive waiting in there for another two to three weeks max.

    Happened a month ago too
A dryer was the culprit this time and the dog came to the rescue not the kids brother
Dunno how you can start a drying cycle from the inside of the machine

I accidently turned on the dryer with the cat in it once. He walked away physically unscathed, although he was in a very distressed mental state. It took a few days until he was back to himself.
