Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    ^^^^^^^

    Confirmed team?

    If so happy out.

Yeah, delighted with that team, Obertan, Bébé, Chicho, Fabio, Smalling, Macheda and Anderson all starting is sex.

Delighted to see Anderson in there again. Like most players he thrives on gametime. Him and Fletcher is a very good blend of their differing skillsets.

    Is that really the team?!
    I like it!

Nice attacking team although West Ham seem to be fairly attacking themselves, looking forward to this now!

I love that team. Fletcher is the oldest player on the Unitd team, yet still we've got oodles of quality. Rafael too good for the league cup now.

Want to see a big performance from Anderson today. Macheda too!

I was so impressed with Anderson at the weekend. Hopefully he can reach near those heights on a consistent basis.

    Is this only on Sky?

Glad there's no Parker in the WH team as well. Injured?

    Also anyone got the benches?

is that really the team?im not too sure if it is, seems too obvious.

if so, any word on the bench?

That United team is just a prediction. Still hasn't been confirmed yet. Team is never confirmed until 45 minutes before kick off most of the time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,951 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

I hate it when people don't say that they are making a prediction.

BBC saying that Brown is captaining the side.

Seriously he is and he better be RB at Blackpool this weekend.

    Delighted with the team.

Happy out. I'd like to see a 4-4-2 there with giggs and Obertan wide and Bebe through the middle with Chico.

    PIG

    O'Shea Evans Smalling Fabio

    Bebe Anderson Fletcher Giggs

    Obertan

    Chico

I imagine it'll end up something like this to start, with Obertan, Bebe and Chico constantly switching positions, as usual.

Poor aul Wes goes from being captain to being dropped.:pac:

Happier to see JOSH at RB anyway, he needs a game and is a more reliable option.

Big night for Smalling and Evans; Cole and Obinna will give them a good workout.

    Our second string rocks.

Good to see Ando getting back to back games. Hopefully he kicks on... *goes and gets hopes up*

It's definitely strong enough to win our next FA cup match anyway.

Anderson's been showing the type of play we wanted when he signed this season, running with the ball, playing just behind the strikers. He is the midfielder we are looking for, could be as good as Ozil if he keeps it up.

Jaysus that's a shocking team we have out.
Ben Haim, Kovac (who seems incapable of playing a simple pass), Spector (Ferguson must still be laughing that we bought him) and Boa Morte all starting.
Great to see Zavon Hines back on the bench though. He could be a great player for us.

How many goals have this West Ham team scored this year? Cole and Obinna 1 goal each- anyone else score?

Parker's got 6 in all competitions. Piquionne's got a handful too. Obinna's actually got 2 in the Carling Cup as well.

Yeah was just talking about this team tonight. Why has he left out Parker and Piq? this United defence is very vunerable but hard to see this Hammers attack causing too much problems.

Here's hoping Eikrem gets on at some stage over the second half. Looking forward to it, I always enjoyed seeing a team like that playing.

Why do you think the defence is vulnerable?

To be fair we've got Sunderland at the weekend and, while beating Man U would be great, I'd prefer a win at the weekend and getting off the bottom.
Also, I'd say one or both will come on if things are going bad in the second half.

    One word: Spector :pac:
No matter where he plays, he's always good for giving away a goal.

He said the United defence. I'd like to see why he has come to that conclusion.

World class save from Green. He's having a fantastic season despite what happened to him in the summer.

It looks like he's wandering the midfield, no position in particular.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, he's over on the right a lot though.

It looks uncomfortably cold out there...
