Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm heartbroken about being knocked out of the Carling Cup with a 2nd string out tbh. Being top of the league and in the KO stages of the Champions League just isn't consolation :(

West Ham looked awesome though I nearly forgot to add...

ah yes of course, because your team wins them every year gives you the right to ask that question and interject in every United thread, sorry I forgot.

Come back to me when you win something.

    Banter?

I'd think there be more exciting banter round a train-spotters convention. Ok son?

Trainspotting is actually popular street slang for shooting up some heroin, so actually yeah, I imagine at a convention, the banter would be off the fúcking walls!

    Aggressive mood in here...

United were pretty crap on the night, I don't think it's the end of the world, the only ones who really lose out are the younger players on the pitch, that competition is there to give them first team games, if they don't play to a high enough standard then they get dumped out of the tournament and don't get first team football.

I thought the only person of worth was Anderson, the amount of times I saw players just pass it to him and hope he'll drive on and do something with it...

Fletcher was pretty terrible, for a player I feel is usually pretty solid. Giggs did squat diddly too.

The only thing I really have a problem with is Jonny Evans in defense, he's neither tough enough or brazen enough for the Vidic role, nor classy enough for the Rio role. He gets muscled off the ball by just about anyone, he's a tall lad, and still gets outjumped. He's just not good enough really.

What he needs is a good 5 game run, so that he looks competent enough for the likes of Sunderland to think he's half decent, and sell him off sharpish.

Smalling has potential and wasn't the cause of any goals last night...

Bebe is still fairly new to it all so I don't really think he should be slaughtered for last nights performance.

See the problem with utd fans for me is that a large percentage of them are very bad winners, I suppose it stems down from the manager to the fans

More fun in being a bad winner than a bad loser.

No the problem with United fans for you is that they support United. You say you think we're bad winners, yet here you are spouting your petty bitterness in a thread where they've lost.

Bad winners can only be bad winners when they win, but it seems ABU's have tp spread their misery win, lose or draw. What a pitiful existence, pinning your hopes of failure every week on a team that has a habit of doing an unbelieveabe amount of winning.

So who is winning the pink purse? Flahavaj or the photoshopper formerly known as Archimedes or somebody else?

I don't mind people having a go at me, I probaly deserve it, but other people if they even suggest a slight crititism of utd they get jumped on and are called abu's and are abused, you lot just can't take any crititism, mars bar just admitted ye were bad winners

Most of the people who have a pop aren't engaging in constructive criticism, they are self admitted ABU's who hate seeing United do well. I'd imagine most of the bragging that goes on here is for their benefit. Lets not pretend that that vast majority of your posting history has been in any way constructive niallo bai, even on your own team's thread.

so none of us can take criticism, and Mars Bar is the spokesperson for, and overall judge of, the United fans on this site.

You've done brilliantly with that post.

Because I speak for the whole United fan base? I don't believe what I wrote myself anyway...it was more of a pop at you.

I have no problem losing when we really deserve it like last night.

Over the last few weeks, when we ground out results when playing crap, you would find most people acknowledging the fact that we were crap.

You really are a sensitive soul if you get annoyed about a few gloating fans. It's part and parcel of the game...

You're the worst winner here, you spout on about football lessons when spurs win, and when they lose you go missing because that's the kind of person you are.

But the only thing I respect you for, is the fact you're not an ABU, terrible winner you may be, but you troll every team, not just United.
