Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

computer freezes

    my computer keeps freezes when i'm playing a game what could be causing this i'm thinking about taking it some where to be looked at but i'm not sure where and how much it would cost to be looked at

    is it freezing only when you play a particular game or all the time!!

    What OS do you have (XP, Vista, Win 7?)

    Is it one game or all?

    Desktop or Latop?

    Be more descriptive.

    You haven't given us nearly enough information. The more explicit you are on the details, the more likely people will be able to offer useful assistance. What are your system specs? What are the system requirements of the game (note: I'm assuming it is just the one game) that is associated with the crashes?

    In lieu this information, I expect that reinstalling/ updating the graphics driver would be your first port of call.

    What are "all games"? What games do you play? Is it only when playing games that it happens? Does it only happen after a certain period of time playing the game?

    does it freeze with the normal use, with no games involved.

    Did you install windows 7 whilst another graphics card was in? If so you will need to reinstall g/card drivers. There are issues with this card freezing with windows 7 . Good luck

    update your system and your video drivers, with your system spec you should have no trouble running games, it must be either a conflict or over heating

    next time you pc shuts down go into your bios and check the core temp (if you have that option) or get a program to check heat levels
