I should really be making the wifes dinner seeing as I'm off today but I'm addicted to this thread and looking out the window at the moment.

Bucketing down here since 9am with the odd 10 minute stoppage, but its really coming down now. Latest measurement from same spot in centre of road is 16.3 inches, was 12.2 at 6am this morning, so a nice increase.

Taking bets for 2foot by midnight, odds on.

Was up your way in the Hell Fire Club yesterday evening, absolutely beautiful scenery up the hill, visibility a bit low at the summit but worth every step of the walk up...

No snow now in Lucan, but ominous looking clouds and bitter, bitter cold.

I haven't set foot outside yet today but I have to post a letter later on.
Bring it on! Can't wait to go for a walk later. :D

Just had a snow shower, there's about 3-4 inches of snow after yesterday morning and there was a bit of a thaw yesterday and today but nothing major everything still covered in snow apart from trees.

Big dark clouds approaching Ongar now. Just back from shops with everything I need for a big pot of coddle. What else would you be having on a evening like this.:D

    Anyone want some?

i got bored of being in this stupid IOM shadow up here in north co dublin, so i drove down to santry. my god the difference is unreal! had a few hairy moments in the car but it was so beautiful to be out in the snow. took a few pix outside omni. roads are lethal down there but as soon as you hit swords it's all grand like!

In an office in Tallaght, along with about 40 other people.
The boss is in denial. We were meant to be working late, about 8 or 9pm, but a few could end up sleeping here tonight. Or worse, sleeping in their cars.

Do you think there is any chance of North County Dublin getting in on the action or should I just give up??!

A couple of flakes in the air in south d15. Cloud to my east and south, brighter to the north... maybe we'll catch something here again :)

Depends on what you mean by Degraded.
It snowed. The roads were already slushy.
    Ergo the roads are bad.

But its hardly the ice age.:D
