The Dublin radar has gone offline at 20.30, thats why there's nothing to be seen.

See that on the met.ie website yet Raintoday seemed to have more showers on it than the equivalent met one..strange.

    Red:

Follow orders and any advice given by your authorities under all circumstances, be prepared for extraordinary measures.

Its not so bad..is it that hard to spell east..

"Very icy overnight and tomorrow. Further heavy snow showers also, mainly in the esat of the country."

Thought it was forecast of the economy!

This has definitely reached "Event" status.

My dad crashed his car earlier.. 15mph & yet slid straight into a deep ditch and totalled the bonnet. Thankfully he wasn't hurt, plenty of sugary tea sorted him out fairly lively.

Still hasn't dampened my love of the snow.

At country level it does. Just click on Ireland on the map and you'll see the red alert out for all regions.
