Ah, for jaysus' sake, I'm sitting here like an idiot refreshing this damn thread and flicking over to raintoday and sat24 like a muppet, despite my desperate need for sleep. No amount of boards-reading is going to get me any more snow than is headed my way anyway, it'll just get my hopes up and then I'll be disappointed in the morning when I can see out the upstairs windows.

    I'm going to bed.

For the sake of anyone who is suffering loss of income or business, I hope it's wet and the whole lot melts.

Kildare County Council says motorways in the county are in an extremely dangerous condition and it is advising motorists not to travel on main routes tonight.

I have a 5 month old, I need sleep : ) Plus I'd rather get up early in the morning and weather watch in daylight, the curtains are closed to try and keep the heat in so I can't even see what's falling, it's no fun this way.

At least it's snowing for now, I think I'll quit while I'm ahead.
