Im sick of the Thundersnow!!!   Kept me up the past 3 nights!!! Why does it keep happening!?! Anyone know?

I was out in a field last night and got a big fright when there was a flash of blue lightning, no thunder though.
First time I saw lightning in November. It was down south Kilkenny or Wexford/Waterford area around 7:45pm yesterday.

Snowed in, no one went on my road today, several inches of snow fell today. Some water pipes for cattle are frozen, took hours to defrost the milking machine, stopped sending milk to the creamery as there is no hope of getting milk collected or delivered to a place where it could be collected.
Can't sell cattle and it won't bloody well stop snowing or freezing...

While all fun and pretty, these are the things that bring it home to reality of what its causing.I hope conditions improve for you there.Best of luck.

I'm in Collon. We don't seem to get the same weather as Drogheda very often.

Those streamers seem to be fading out IMO...let's face it they've been going for over 24 hours now - surely can't last much longer. Seriously hope I'm wrong though ;)

No must be a specific little cloud over MissLockharts House, I used to have one of those, took years to shake it off! :D:D:D

Still crazy snow in south Carlow. I'm keeping an eye on my wheelie bin snow barometer. It's not looking good , snowed on and off for all day
You can see the depth in the cross section

I was not expecting it given we had none of the thundersnow, was delighted to see the blue lightning.
It was at your side of the county too but given I couldn't hear any thunder it was probably south of you too.
