I have nothing fancy yet only really started collecting in the last year so have been building up the common console set to start with But will def be looking at getting this or will see if I can find something to tickle your fancy.

Been wanting to try dev stuff for the PS2 for a while now, put my college education to use

I like the look of that too, the TEST I have is Kerbdogs, and the time is coming when he'll want it back!
So, I must pick up another somewhere.
Truth be told, I'd be more interested in a region free PS2, something I don't need to swap disks with, something that'll play the occasional CD/DVD R as well, just in case....

Hack it with a Hard Disk. You don't even have to swap disks.

I've been playing from the HDD a few weeks, its the best thing ever,

If I couldnt get the spindle going I was considering stealing the PSU out of it and lashing in my Jap unit to get rid of the horror of step downs. That's possible isn't it?

Also another great use for it yep, it's doable in about two mins

Edit - Assuming their both the same model. If they're not, you'll need to look into it

They're both model 1s with oval buttons, so I think it should be okay.

Veccy cap kit arrived by the way. Mother was wondering was there a flux capacitor in there. Bless.

Ah you'll be grand so, I think the psu's only differed between the model 1 & 2.

Sound on the kit, that was speedy enough.

Yeah I heard it works alright. Tbh, I dunno if I'd bother going to the hassle. The easier route is to just buy a US Snes, remove the two plastic tabs & you've got a universal snes.

Comes with Street Racer, such an epic game.

I haven't played F-Zero yet, but it looks pretty basic at best compared to Street Racer.

The megadrive version was awful compared to the SNES, you were forced to drive forward the whole time.

There was some ridiculous Versus modes also, A Royal Rumble mode and some kind of football mode, reminiscent of Top Gear's Yaris Cup.

Have fierce fun memories of playing it with my cousin when I was about 13 or 14.

In my experience untested=broken 90 percent of the time. If they're selling something, how hard is it to plug it in and turn it on?
Maybe they don't have any games for it but they could still plug it in a check for a power LED.

Yeah thats what I thought also. Says there is one game with it, so I don't see how it can't be tested.

Jag won't power on without a cartridge installed, on LED nothing just a brick as far as I know. Although some say its still just a brick even when fully functional.

£53 is too much for an 'untested' one.

In my experience, a lot of the time it also means -

'it has an RF cable only and I can't tune the thing in so it must be broken'
