    Light rain here D11... 3.9 o C, path are the worst now bcoz of the water on top of the ice making it quite "FUN" to try walk on.

    A half hour ago in the car, the temp said 8.5C and it felt like it outside. Thats right beside the river at the docks in Dublin though.

    The M2 reads 8.1C, serious warming going on!

    I'd say your guage is WAY off.

    It is only about 3 degree out

    That was about 8pm though its gone down a bit since the rain stopped. Are you a bit inland in Sandymount or on the coast?

    On the coast. It was 3 degrees between 7 and 8 here.

    Car guages are always way off.

    It was never that warm

    Well, the M2 about 25mi east of us did read 8.1C at the time and still is at the moment. It is colder now alright.

    6.2c in Sligo having shot up from being freezing or below most of the last 6 days. Fairly remarkable for this Atlantic dominated town.

    Sandyford update

    Midday today the Big Thaw set in rather suddenly. Temp rose to +3C by mid afternoon and has stayed there. Strong breeze too, but dry and cloudy.

    Full snow cover still (making it 14 days in a row!) but it is starting to turn a bit gloopy. :cool:

    7.2c here in Waterford with a mostly cloudy sky. The mildest day in well over 2 weeks. Most of our snow is gone but some paths and car parks are still icy.
