So far today we've had rain (around 8.30am)..cloud cover up 'til midday, then sleet, hail, snow, changing back to sleet at around 1.15pm. Nothing but clouds above us now..just looked out the window...snow again

-5C (feels like -12C) in central Illinois, about 2-3" of snow fell last night, tapering off now. Not more much will accumulate at this stage. It will remain cloudy today, at least no brutal winds to contend with today!

Down to 1.5C in Athlone and we just had a 20 minute sleet and then snow shower. It was fairly heavy but didn't stick. Stopped now.
Temp 1.5C at 2pm and it was 4.0C at 1pm.

The snow/sleet doesn't appear to be coming in any organised pattern across the country from what I can see.
