No idea of the exact temp, but it seems slightly warmer tonight than last night from where I am in Clontarf, Dublin.

Bit of fog, its been worse, can here fog horns constantly out at sea.

No thaw here today either, icicles on balcony growing since yesterday evening!

Actually, scrap that, just been out again and its just as cold and fog seems to be getting heavier!

The fog has lifted in parts of the city though it's still dense to the west and along the coast.

Extraordinary covering of freezing fog in N louth this morning (and most of the night I believe)...not something I've ever seen that much of tbh. I though there was a string thrown into the garden but it's all the spider webs picked out in ice crystals
Temp at 8am was around -6.5...by 10 it had "climbed" to -4.5 and is currently hovering around -3.2.
Fog has cleared a bit but stilll down to 70-80m visibility.

    Sandyford update

This morning I looked for the tenth straight day at 100% snow cover; still nearly a foot on undisturbed surfaces. The temp at 8am was -10C.

Another cloudless sunny day; max -1C; no thaw.

It is now clouding over, calm, temp -3C.

ps - can anyone remember what grass looks like?
