Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Masturbation is the key to contentment. Sex with someone you love is the key to happiness.

Dont walk though Temple Bar at 9:30 a.m. on the morning of Monday Nov 29th 2010, as you will slip and fcuk your back up.

    2) don't leave the country, you will regret it
    3) graphic design isn't a great career. unless you work for yourself. STAY AWAY!

"never look back to your past and think about how you could have changed it. You'll become hollow and very sad on the inside. you'll hate everything. you will become emotionally crippled and stop caring about anything and everything, even the girl who really loves you. she deserves better. the face you show your friends will not be your own. Dont waste you're time on half your family, they're full of **** and anyway, you end up moving thousands of miles away just to be rid of them. lay off the alcohol.

the biggest bit of advice i can give you is to work hard at college, and have some ****ing self respect, you're actually very intellegent, just put your mind to it."

    jesus i sound emo. eew.

so many wasted oppurtunities. Damn my mother and her be respectful of women crap

The girl you really fancy will emigrate and ignore you for the rest of your life. Despite all of this you will continue to have feelings for her years after she has left.

You should also bear in mind that no matter how many people you meet and acquaintances you gain, you will never have any more than 1 (perhaps 2) True friends in the world other than your immediate family.

Alcohol, drugs, drink, sex, gambling, work, money and all the things you indulge in will all affect your self esteem ina bad way and will have a negative impact on you at some point in your life resulting in more trouble than any of them are worth.

Your colleagues do not respect you and never will no matter what you achieve. Therefore your aspirations should never revolve around work. Spiritual fulfilment, education and your intellectual and emotional development will stimulate you far more than wasting your time on a sh1tty job that nobody cares about.

Never let anyone else influence your love life. What makes you happy is more important. It may end in tears and usually will but it's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

Don't bother your arse getting involved.

    • Lift weights - you'll enjoy it.
    • Most girls think you're better looking than you do - put yourself out there.
    • Don't get a credit card, don't borrow money, save 10% of everything you earn.
    • Travel - you love it and the last piece of advice is how you'll be able to do it.
    • Get your Dad's old SLR out of the attic, it's quite cool.
    • Don't buy round of shots so often, it's pissing money into the wind.
    • You'll be offered a promotion that involves a trip to California, don't take it, you won't get to go and it'll cost you your job.
    • Don't worry about what other people think of you. The one's you like will generally like you too.
    • Don't fall in love with a girl because she's prepared to sleep with you. Sex != Love
    • Do I.T. rather than business, you're better cut out for technical roles.
    • Weed suits you better than booze, find a dealer ;)

Be nicer to your parents and sisters. Grunting is not a form of communication.

Stop making fun of girls you secretly like-it is not going to make them like you.

Congratulations on not taking up smoking like the rest of the gang-now make sure not to smoke any weed. It doesn't suit you and will only make you paranoid and tired.

Bring a condom with you on Leaving Cert night.

Join some bloody societies in first year of college. They're not 'sad'

Grow some balls and chat up women in nightclubs.

in 2008, when you're a little bit older you'll get the opportunity to stay in New Zealand with a job and girlfriend. Don't come back to Ireland based on the fact that the last time you were there, there was plenty of money, jobs and everyone was having a great time.

    Young Gucky.....

Sit down and I'll tell you a tale.

If a fella ever approaches you in the changing room cubicle in the swimming pool, he is NOT a doctor, and does NOT have to stick something up 'there' or you may die in a few years otherwise.

Not to get into cars with strangers, that strangers are default dangerous until proven otherwise. I was the most overly trusting child/teen, and it's a miracle I put myself in certain situations that I did and came out unharmed. I was walking home from the local shop when I was about 11 and a strange man asked me for directions. I told him it was on my way and GOT INTO HIS CAR. One completely harmless car ride later I got out, but thinking about it now as an adult, and thinking what sort of a strange man decided it was alright to have me in his car (only 10 yrs ago, not a different time) and remembering the strange vibe and "uh oh" feeling I got once I got in scares the **** out of me. Will be raising my children to assume all unknown people are evil!
