Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Don't trust anyone over thirty. They might look like they know what they're doing, but quite a few of them aren't smart at all. If you have a feeling they're wrong and you're right, that's probably the case.

I'll tell myself last Friday's Euromillions numbers

What's the reason for being reasonable?

    Is that an unreasonable question?

You'd have to wait an awful long time to use them though.

Would you not just tell yourself the numbers from the date that you legally became able to play it (or failing that some other lotto)? Otherwise your just telling yourself info that you cannot use for an unnecessary number of years.

Dont tell your dad you'll kick his ass when you turn 18.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,086 ✭✭✭Nijmegen

"These years, and the ones ahead, are some of the best you'll ever have. Do you even know how few holidays you'll get as a grown up? Enjoy your teenage years. Don't be shy with the ladies. Though do know that when your dad jokes about regretting having kids... He isn't joking. Be careful! Oh, and write down these numbers...."

Get to know your mother while you can.

Oh, and find an opportune moment and shove your dad down the stairs.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,463 ✭✭✭Solnskaya

be arrogant and dress well. People judge you on what you wear and how confident you are, if you're not, just fake it, nobody can tell the difference. Oh, and sonny, no good deed goes unpunished, so do no favours for anybody, just look after your own.

Hold onto Tombi! It will be a rare game in years to come. Then buy Tombi! 2 - that will be rare as well.

Your natural instinct is to run - do it before you lose confidence.

There'd just be some other pre-pubescent fevered ego waiting in the wings to take his place. It's like the idea of killing Hitler's parents before he had been born, someone else would have probably sent history along the path that followed anyway.

BTW, I'm not comparing Bieber to Hitler. One is German and pure evil, the other was named Adolf.

Don't accept the offer to move into primary 5, due to "intelligence", stay in P4, it'll be entirely more fun. Clearly you're not gonna get into college if you finish 2ndry school at 16!

Seriously; stop crying, stop worrying, stop being anxious over nothing - you can kick ass at Fifa 2003, and no one can take that away from you.

Also, don't give up real football, you U8F Most Improved Player 2002/03 and U9C Player of the Year 2003/04 you.

Feel free to take a break from F1 for a couple of years, it's crap until 2006.

by 9 that would have been done?
So maybe you could tell yourself to dumb it down a little so you get held back.

I would tell my younger self that you are stronger than you think and the girls that bully you and put you down are the ones with the problem, not you. It will take you a long time to realise that but when you do it will be freeing for you.
