Standby App

Anyone able to recommend a good app to automatically put an Android phone (Galaxy S) into standby mode (turn off wifi, bluetooth, network, etc...) during specific times of the day. Thinking that there's no point in having all those features enabled when I'm fast asleep....

Love the phone so far but trying to figure out ways to make the battery last longer.

This used to be a standard feature in my crappy old Blackberry Storm so I figure an Android phone should be able to do something similar?

Tasker.

It can be a bit daunting when setting up tasks but there are guides on various blogs, it's pretty powerful in terms of what it can do and what triggers each task.

Tasker is good, for other alternatives, search "profiles" on the market. There are heaps of profile managers on there....

BatteryFu will let you do stuff like that.

Knock wifi, 3g, etc off when the screen is off. Let you set "night modE2 between certain hours. Pretty easy..

I went with SuperPower in the end, it's deffo increasing the battery life but by exactly how much I don't know yet (it's only been running 2 days).

surprisingly easy to use (compared to other apps) and, the screen shots are surprisingly similar to BatteryFu
