As the radar suggested, stirring back up in D15 now.

As I speak, just got really really heavy! Looks like another blast of the stuff.

Wind has turned way more NE now, this is good for coastal areas in Co.Dublin

Looks like it's game over here though, haven't seen anything all morning!!! Isle of Man is scuppering our chances!!! Any indication on whether this will change?

    This is great!

However living on a main road I am seeing about an ambulance an hour go by.

Just hope unfortunate people affected by all this are okay.

Still going near Malahide - most snow of the whole event in this location. BTW this is all heading towards Dublin/West Dublin

Even in empty car spaces and the roads or roofs? etc?

    another update from Clontarf

Pretty much been snowing all day so far, with a few breaks in between. Getting a pretty nice coating on everything. Lovely big flakes, which is a nice change from graupel Wednesday. Bitterly cold outside as well. I may well be making a move out of here soon enough. Need to get train back to Donabate and tbh not a fan of the crapola that went on yesterday

Yea just getting annoyed with all the met eir slashing here.
I was thinking of the main forecasts.

I'm sorry but i clearly saidi'm not bashing met eir but they havent been great this cold spell- THey changed there forecast for the next few days today- it was totally different yesterday. yesterday they said heavy snow in the east on friday now today it is rain? how can you justify that. THet arent a good service infact most of the information they give out is wrong. They might as well stcik there heads out the wondow in the morning and say its Raining/ snowing / sunny because there forecast for teh next few days is rubbish.

Yes, it's a complete whiteout here. Just stopped right now. Another belt on the way...though we did have some hail at the start to help it along a bit.

Not a complete white out here anyway. Definitely starting to fill, but the roofs here are still clear. However, the snow is coming at a different direction to how it has been for the past few days.

I was out with my dog in the garden around 12:30 and our tracks are nearly gone already  (D14).

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Same here... I think this is more of a covering than I have seen in my lifetime to date. Quite thick on the ground, the driveway and the elevated grass area are smoothed over into one now.
