any sign of us emerging from the IOM shadow:rolleyes:

I ain't no weather man but we need the wind to change slightly to a more easterly wind then we would get plenty of white. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can tell us if the wind direction will change?

covering all again now, and coming down the chimney!

I like the bally snow, settles easier!

Significant dark clouds skirting Donabate now, not sure we're going to get much of it but would imagine there'll be a heavy lot in Malahide in about 15 mins. Back to Sat levels here

Been a pause here for the last little while, but looking at the radar, I think we're about to be hit by Weathercheck's streamer.

Looks cool, you can see the snow covered areas around Leinster then sweeping westerly and tiny bit in Cork

hhhmmm - I think you're near where I live (Lusk). However, I'm in work at the moment. Do I need to start thinking about bailing out of work (south Dublin).

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,909 ✭✭✭✭Wertz

FWIW the clouds I'm seeing to my south are nowhere near as intense or bubbled up looking as what was happening this time yesterday. No anvils, not as dark, no fuzzy tops.
There might be a lot of moisture coming in from the Irish sea but I don't think it's going as high up in the cold air to intensify the same way as yesterday's showers.
Looking like dundalk's forcefield is holding steady...

All the birds were going mad outside (magpies, crows) didn't know what was going on, when I went out there was a pigeon with its head caught in a plastic bag! managed to get it out & it flew off, poor birds must be starving, leave some stuff out for them if you can.

Also call in on any elderly or infimr neighbors to see if they need anything if you can, it will mean a lot to them :)

    Started snowing in D4 again
